Gaida.com is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving Bulgarian folklore music.
The site was founded back in 1999 and experienced many ups and downs throughout the last several years 
including a complete loss of the music library due to malicious activity by our hosting provider. However, 
this turned out to be beneficial in the long run, since it made us convert all of our tracks in MP3/OGG 
formats, which is the industry standard for streaming music on the Internet. 
Currently, the website offers a significant number of albums for streaming so users can enjoy the magic 
and beauty of Bulgarian music. In addition, digitizing the music preserves it for the future and makes 
it easy to add to future libraries and collections, or used in online radio shows and DJ-mixed tracks.
